First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Or : This is a view of the church from the street.  As you can see, the outside of the church withstood the water, but the inside did not hold up as well.

French Quarter 3 : Another thing that we noticed as we walked through the French Quarter were ceramic placards spread periodically on the buildings of each street.  These placards told us the names of the streets back  in the 1700's when New Orleans belonged to Spain.

French Quarter 2 : One of the things that we noticed most about the French Quarter was all of the iron work that is present on most of the buildings.  Not only does this picture show some of that iron work but we all stopped to admire the iron frog that was on the balcony as well.

The French Quarter 1 : This house is one of the first houses that we saw as we walked through the French Quarter.  We talked to one resident of the Frech Quarter who told us that this area had not flooded because it was built on higher land.
